History: The Prince Date+Day represents an important period in Tudor history when the brand remained particularly close to Rolex in both its design language and construction. The familiar Oyster-style case, Cyclops date magnifier, fluted precious-metal bezel and bracelet architecture are immediately recognizable, while Tudor differentiated the watch through its own automatic movement and full day display.
The Ref. 76214 was produced in numerous dial configurations, ranging from conventional baton markers to more decorative executions. Closing Note: The Tudor Prince Date+Day 76214 is an excellent representation of the period when Tudor watches retained an especially strong connection to classic Rolex design while developing a distinct identity of their own. The combination of a glossy enamel-style Roman numeral dial, full day-date complication and 18K white gold fluted bezel gives this particular example a considerably more elegant character than the standard Prince configurations.
This example is especially well preserved, retaining a clean dial, crystal and bezel, an excellent case with its original caseback sticker, and its original bracelet fitting approximately an 18.5cm wrist. The watch was also serviced earlier this year and is running well without issue. Any small specks visible on the fluted bezel in the accompanying video are simply dust particles rather than marks or damage.
