Overview: The LJAK602 is one of the most distinctive watches from Seiko’s 1990s Laurel revival, Its tonneau-shaped case is constructed from solid 925 sterling silver, surrounding a textured ivory dial with Breguet-style Arabic numerals, heat-blued Breguet-style hands and a recessed small-seconds display at six o’clock.

History: Seiko revived the Laurel name during the 1990s with a collection of classically styled watches referencing the company’s early watchmaking history. The LJAK602 dates to approximately 1996 and was joined by related LJAK600 and LJAK601 variants.
Inside is the hand-wound Caliber 4S28, part of Seiko’s highly regarded 4S movement family. Developed during Seiko’s mechanical revival of the 1990s, the 4S architecture traces its lineage to the earlier Seiko 52-series and was used across a relatively small number of higher-end and enthusiast-oriented references.
