Model: Seiko Spirit SCVE009 "Death Star"
Overview:
A rare and highly distinctive variant within Seiko’s Spirit “Dot” lineup, the SCVE009 is the only black dial execution.
The watch isn't actually based on the StarWars franchises "Death Star" but as the crater in the dial is in a very similar spot as the Death Star and as the second had looks as if it is shooting its iconic red beam I feel that it makes perfect sense.
History:
Released in the early 2010s as part of the Seiko Spirit “Dot” series, the SCVE009 stood apart from its counterparts with its monochromatic black aesthetic.
