Overview:
A refined Presage model featuring an enamel dial, offering a clean and elegant aesthetic within Seiko’s higher-end dress lineup.
History:
Released around 2016 as part of Seiko’s Presage push into artisanal Japanese craftsmanship.
These enamel dials are notoriously hard to create, created with layers on top of layers of finely ground glass powder, each layer being fired in a furnace in succession, it is said that failure rates of creating these enamel dials can be as high as 60-70% due to cracking or warping.
